  • Applebee’s is offering a 10% off Teacher discount at participating locations. To receive this discount, simply show a valid school ID to your server. On Teacher Appreciation Day, select locations also offer Teachers a free main course. Check with your local restaurant for participation.
  • Select Buffalo Wild Wings locations have a 20% discount for teachers during the week (Monday through Friday). Show a valid school ID to get the deal.
  • Go to Freddy’s to get a free one-topping mini ice cream sundae. Participating locations will be requiring teachers to flash their valid IDs in-store.

  • Sonic is giving all those enrolled in its Teachers’ Circle Rewards program a free cheeseburger with any purchase from May 9 to May 16 made online or in the Sonic App.
  • Whataburger will celebrate educators by offering free weeklong breakfast entrées for all teachers. Throughout the week from 5 A.M. to 9 A.M., teachers can enjoy a free breakfast entrée including a Taquito with cheese, Breakfast on a Bun or Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, and a 25% discount on all retail items in the Whatastore with code WHATATEACHER23.
  • Academy Sports & Outdoors is offering 10% off in-store and online from 2 April – 14 May for teachers.
  • Teachers with new memberships at Costco can receive $20 Costco Shop Card.
  • Dell is offering teachers a 10% coupon via e-mail until 13 May.
  • Go to the Crayola site and visit their “Teacher Gifts”, which are all 20% off during Teacher Appreciation Week with the code EDUCATORS.
  • Crocs is proud to offer 25% off Teacher Discount all full-priced styles to teachers (some exclusions).
  • Participating Insomnia Cookies is offering a free six-pack of Classic cookies (regularly around $13.50) with any $5 in-store purchase through 12 May.
  • Teachers, if you have an Amazon wishlist or Donor’s Choose, drop you info on this post so that they can help you clear the list!
  • Go to Logan’s Roadhouse with proof of ID/badge for 20% off until the 12 May.
  • You can go to Subway Serves to register (each day at 9am) for one of 2,000 free sandwiches for Teacher Appreciation at Subway through 12 May.

It’s a Grand Opening!

I haven’t quite kept up with my one post a month goal, but I’m close!  HAHA  I’ve been quite busy with work….and life.  It’s all good though.  How were your holidays?  How is the start to the new year going?  I have no complaints.  Just so much to do on all fronts.  I think most people are like that right now.  How about the price of eggs?  HA!  I do hope that you’re all doing well.

So one of the things that I’ve been working on is expanding into the other marketplaces.  I had started on it previously, but I’ve fully gotten into it.  I want you all to be able to find me on multiple places.  I know that some enjoy shopping in certain marketplaces and some enjoy others.  I still don’t have everything in the other marketplaces, but I’m making some good progress.  Along with me expanding, many other sellers are as well.  We decided to get together and do a Grand Opening Sale.  I’m really excited about this!

There’s so many special days coming up that you can hopefully find resources for.  Ash Wednesday is 22 February, which also makes it the first day of Lent.  Easter will be 9 April with Holy Week leading up to that.  There’s also Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Spring, and other important dates coming up.  I have materials for all these in my shops!

It’s Cyber Monday!

Hello all and Happy Holidays!

I hope that you had a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.  Are you all gearing up for Christmas now?  Do you have your tree up yet?  This year, we’ve opted not to do a Christmas tree.  Our daughter is a wise one and said that it’s been stressful the past couple years and we should just find something simpler to do.  She’s an adult that loves Christmas as much as I do, but her words made sense.  We have a lighted ceramic tree (white) sitting on a little table that normally has to be put up at Christmas.  I put a tree skirt over the table and placed the tree in the center of it.  It’s actually really nice and comforting.  I still have my nativities everywhere!  I have so many different kinds and they’re all special to me.

Apostles and Saints

Hello all my wonderful readers!

I know, it’s been more than a month.  I have nothing to say other than, I’M SORRY!  I was doing alright and then life just happened.  I do apologize and I’m hoping that I can get back to posting at least once a month.

I know, that’s probably not the question that you want to see.  But yes, it is getting to be that time again.  Time to return to the classroom, homeschool, Sunday School….or whatever and wherever you teach.  Summer went much too fast for me.  And yes I realize that I became lax in my blogging again.  Let’s hope that I return to my monthly blog post schedule!  HAHA

Here’s some other Teacher Appreciation weeks deals to check out.  If there’s more information available, there’s a clickable link.  Check out these amazing deals and freebies….

Staples:   is increasing its Classroom Rewards through Saturday and giving away free teacher gift boxes, while supplies last. Teachers will receive 20% back in rewards and get up to 5% in rewards for themselves. Exclusions apply.  According to Staples, teachers “can stop into their nearby Staples store for a free gift box of supplies, exclusive coupons and a handful of surprises from our print team.”

Office Depot and Office Max:   Now through June 25, teachers can get 20% off their qualifying regular-priced purchases and can get 20% back in Bonus Rewards on a qualifying purchase, up to $50 in rewards.  To redeem either deal, teachers must present a valid teacher ID, a coupon and rewards member number.

Dollar General:   is giving teachers 5% off for the month of May. To get this discount through May 31, teachers need to sign in or create a Dollar General account and verify their teacher credentials. Then they’ll need to add the “exclusive teacher-only DG digital coupon” through the retailer’s app.  The coupon will appear 24 to 48 hours after verification and to redeem teachers can enter their phone number at checkout.

Sonic:  is offering a free cheeseburger with purchase to all enrolled in the Sonic Teachers’ Circle, a free rewards program for educators available through the chain’s app. Teachers need to be fully verified in Teachers’ Circle by Monday and then can redeem a reward for a free cheeseburger Tuesday through May 17.  The fast-food chain also said on Tuesday it will match 50% of each donation, up to $1.5 million total, to teachers’ requests on DonorsChoose.org, a national nonprofit that allows individuals to donate directly to public school classroom requests submitted by teachers.

Buffalo Wild Wings:  is offering teachers and school staff a 20% discount through Friday for dine-in orders as well as “in-store pay” pickup orders. To get this deal, teachers and staff will need to show a valid school ID.

Barnes & Noble:  On Tuesday, for National Teacher Appreciation Day, Barnes & Noble Cafés across the country will give teachers a free tall cup of hot or iced coffee or tea when they show their valid teacher’s ID.

Freddy’s:  is giving teachers a free one-topping mini sundae Monday through Friday at participating locations. To redeem, teachers must present a valid ID for dine-in or drive-thru orders. No coupon or app offer is needed but the chain said there’s a limit of one sundae per person with a valid ID.

Great American Cookies:  is giving teachers and nurses a free Original Chocolate Chip Cookie through Friday with any purchase and a valid ID as part of the Heroes Week initiative.

Marble Slab Creamery:  is treating teachers and nurses with a buy-one-get-one-free small ice cream through Friday for its Heroes Week initiative. A valid ID is needed.

Costco:  Costco is offering teachers a $20 gift card when teachers sign up online for a new Costco membership. You will be asked to fill out an online form with your school email address.

Headspace:  The mindfulness app offers free annual subscriptions to all K-12 teachers, school administrators, and supporting staff in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.

We Are Teachers:  It’s teacher appreciation time! WeAreTeachers is giving 3 lucky winners a YETI Haul Cooler and $250 Amazon gift card! Whether the cooler is for a beach trip or some backyard fun, we hope this will help make your summer the best one yet. Cyber Monday

Boy am I behind!  We had such a great Thanksgiving as a family.  It actually started before that because my parents were here last weekend and we celebrated Thanksgiving with them.  Then for the actual day, I made a smaller meal, but it was amazing.  We started decorating that house as well.  That’s one of my favorite things!  So here we are and it’s already Cyber Monday.

Back to School

I can’t believe that it’s already time for back to school.  Are you ready?  I’m not and at this point, I’m really glad that mine is an adult so that I don’t have to worry about it.  With back to school, comes a sale!

As I always do for Teacher Appreciation, I’m going to list some FREEbies that I’ve found (mostly on TpT).  I encourage you to check them out as soon as possible, because many of them only last for a limited amount of time.  I also recommend that you check back to these stores daily, as they’ll add a FREEbie each day of Teacher Appreciation Week.  So without further ado, here’s your Teacher Appreciation FREEbies for 2021….

  • Office Depot/Office Max:  From Sunday through Saturday, teachers who are Office Depot/OfficeMax Rewards members will receive 25% back in rewards on a qualifying purchase when they present a coupon (The coupon will be available online at officedepot.com/teachers beginning Sunday.) and rewards number at checkout.
  • Staples:  Teachers get 20% off in-store (only) purchases for Teacher Appreciation Week from May 2-9 when they present a valid school ID at check-out.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings:  Teachers get 20% off orders at participating locations Monday through this Friday for dine-in or takeout when they show a valid teacher ID. 
  • Outback Steakhouse:  This week through Friday, the chain is including teachers in its 10% off Heroes Discount when they show a school badge or ID.
  • McAlister’s Deli:  Teachers get a free tea Monday through this Friday when they show their school badge or ID. Also, through Thursday, the chain is taking nominations for a teacher to win free catering on their website.
  • Sonic Drive-In:  This deal is in honor of teachers but open to everyone with the Sonic app. This week, through May 9, use promo code TEACHERS at checkout online or in the app to unlock a free large drink or slush with any purchase.
  • Epson:  Five teachers will be selected to receive an EcoTank ET-4760, an extra set of replacement ink bottles and a ream of EcoTank Paper through a social media contest Monday through Friday. Go to @epson on Facebook, @epsonamerica on Instagram or Twitter and enter for a chance to win.
