Meep!!

I had a request in my group for some printable activities for Beaker.  Beaker is one of the Muppets and he’s most seen in the science lab with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew.  He always says “MEEP”!!

The things that I created for Beaker are pretty standard.  There’s a set of 4 9-piece jigsaw puzzles.  I also made a set of “label the color” cards.  Finally, there’s a Beaker tic-tac-toe game with a couple options for the tokens to play with.

Here’s a thumbnail of some of the pages….

All images are from internet sources and believed to be public domain.

If you’re interested in these activities, just….

Bugs Bunny

I know that it’s been forever (again) since I posted anything.  I’ve really been quite busy with life and also a little discouraged with finding my printables on GigaTribe again.  I just don’t understand the total lack of respect by people who download materials from me or any of the other blogs out there that has items like this available.  Anyway, onto the freebies that I have for you all!!

Yesterday was Bugs Bunny’s birthday, so I had a “challenge” in my group last weekend to make items celebrating this crazy rabbit.  However, my parents were visiting, so I didn’t get to participate in it myself last weekend.  I did get some materials made this week though!!

I created a set of basic puzzles, which are 2-4 pieces each.  There are vertical and horizontal strips, triangles and squares, and 1/2 puzzles.  There’s also a set of 9-piece jigsaw puzzles.  Finally for puzzles, you’ll find a set of number strip puzzles.  Some are numerical order and some are skip counting.

You’ll also find a set of “label the color” cards which feature Bugs face and the color of his face is labeled with the appropriate color.

Next, you’ll get a set of memory cards with a storage box.  There’s 24 images of Bugs Bunny being his silly self on each card.  He’s also seen munching a carrot on the box.  There’s also a Bugs Bunny tic-tac-toe with a couple varieties of tokens….all featuring Bugs.

V.B.S. – Amazing Wonders Aviation

Each summer, one of my group members conducts Vacation Bible School (VBS) at her church.  For a few years now, she’s asked me to create printables that they can use in the classroom because they have a limited budget and can’t purchase the whole package.  This year, their theme is Amazing Wonders Aviation through LifeWay and it looks like a great backdrop to teaching the kids God’s love.

They use the NIV version of the Bible, so any printables with the verse for this theme will come from that version of the Bible.  Also, I just want to note ahead of time that I will be adding a few more items to this and I’ll do another blog post to update what ever else I create.

For the memory verse, I made a cryptogram, fallen phrase, double puzzle, and letter tiles.  These are all puzzles geared more toward the older elementary age kids.  There’s also an AWA maze.

I created a set of banners and doorknob hangers.  You’ll find desk plates and name tags as well.  There’s also a set of basic VBS bookmarks.

Finally, the things that I’m most excited about and proud of is a passport and tickets/boarding passes.  The kids can hand the teacher a boarding pass each day as they enter class.  Beforehand, the tickets can be filled in with the destination that the class is going during VBS.  There’s also a set of semi-completed tickets for those that don’t want to fill in all the information.  The passport can be stamped by the teacher as activities during VBS are completed or a lesson is done for the day.  I just can’t tell you how much I love these!!

**PLEASE NOTE:  When I printed the passport, it printed front and back perfectly on the 2 printers that I have.  One, prints front and back, while the other, the paper has to be flipped over and re-inserted.  I’m unable to give tech help on how your printer might print front and back, so if you have an issues, just print one-sided and then cut each page out and insert in the cover, then staple.**

More of Clifford – The Big Red Dog

As I told you earlier in the week, a very lovely lady from my group had requested several Clifford – The Big Red Dog printables.  I was more than happy to make them and it kept me busy and helped me create some new materials.  I love requests!!

Well, everything that I’ve share up to now were all things that I created for her request and shared in my group.  Now, I have some exclusives, just for YOU!!  This is the first time anyone is seeing these and I wanted to give you all something all your own for always sticking by and following along with my posts.

The first item that I made is a set of number strip puzzles, There is a puzzle for counting 1-10 and 3 puzzles for skip counting by 2, 5, and 10.  There’s also a tic-tac-toe set with 2 boards and several tokens to choose from!!

Next is a Clifford The Big Red Dog writing center set.  These sheets feature the typical read and write skills, but they also include stamp, glue, and draw.  The other writing center center set is not only read and write skill, but also stamp and draw.  Both sets feature Clifford and his friends from his books and tv show.

I managed to get one other thing created!!  This is sorting mats for small, medium, and large.  Each of King Clifford and his prince and princess friends are sorted by their sizes on the appropriate mat.
